its not the right season....a lot of ships go to Alaska in the summer

Interesting. So when our cruise season is over here in Seattle, it begins down in the Gulf?

I'm trying to remember what time of year I took my two Caribbean cruises. I want to say it was fall, but I honestly don't know.

I think that is how it works...and you can book a one way from Seattle to the Mexico, or the Caribean I think...really cheap since they are repositioning ships anyway.

I think most of our Seattle ships go to Cali and Hawaii for the winter. Otherwise, they would have to go through the canal for repositioning.
