We are witnessing what 30 years of Liberalism, Destruction of the Family and Social Infrastructures have done.

And many of those bodies floating in the water ARE NOT Hurricane related deaths..

I think what we've witnessed shows that NONE of these areas - rural or urban - were adequately prepared. The sad truth may be that there is never going to be a way to really prepare for something so massively destructive and the monumental task of abandoning an entire region.

Many people and agencies will be raked over the coals as this disaster moves past the point of urgency and for some it will be justified. But at this point in time, the blame game just sucks up whatever energy and resources are available to save some of those who are still breathing. Time is running out for many of them.
