LSU Hospital system situation...In Homa, LA - no water, power, sewage. 100 patients. Hospital in Boblusa (sp) same. In NO, two hospitals, 1500-2000 people with 300 patients (rest are staff and families and refugees seeking shelter). Desperately, short of raw materials. No fuel for generators. Obviously, also no water, electric, sewage. Life support patients have no generators.
I groan at all the local TV stations that will tease their weather with "Tropical Storm Lee Forms! Will it be a threat to you?!?! Next in weather."
