This really makes me appreciate what FL did in surviving their hurricanes. They have command shelters for the local governments, they are generally pretty well organized.

This is turning into a municipal governance fiasco. I would say the governor of LA should step in but I don't thing it would improve matters.

I think what bothers me the most, is the fact the water isn't going away. There are still people trapped on houses and in the Superdome without the basics. Then to make matters worse, we keep hearing these reports of more rising water of from 9 to 15 feet.

I'm just scared that more people will die. :(
