She's late. The prayers stated a few days ago.

She has a bed to sleep in, food and water, and perhaps even a pet she was not forced to abandon to a horrid death. If only she didn't have to answer so many questions from reporters.

I'm not sure about all the anger, but rest assured, I am praying.

I also think the local police officers are doing what they can given the situation. I seriously doubt that the two women being shown over and over looting the Wal-Mart are representing what other police officers are doing on a local level.

BTW, I talked to onyx again a bit ago; no change there: no damage, no power.

But she did tell me that she heard the Insurance Commissioner for MS on the radio and somebody called in and asked him what about looters -- and he said, "Shoot them."
