You are correct.. but why can't we overcome the water issue.. don't we have boats/vessels etc.. to take the people out of NO... what do we do if we are in a war and need to get over water???

I think a little American know-how blended with our past experiences and a renewed passion for overcoming barriers.. we can do anything we put out minds to.. It is just the American in me...

I think we all need to look at this after the people are out, regarding what not to do. There may come a time when we can't leave and have to defend ourselves and survive. I hope and pray we never have a national emergency but having a plan and being prepared isn't a bad thing.

I believe every single resource: FEMA, seabees, Corps of Engineers, contractors .. every single possible consultant and engineer is primed, is there and on this problem like white on rice. This sub sea level location, the lake, and the LEAK must be just a bugger to which to engineer a solution.

You have to know, and I do believe, they're trying everything under the sun to try to block that breach .. sinking barges .. calling experts from around the world .. brainstorming .. everything they can think of to prevent more water from seeping out.

It's a lethal combination of circumstances. There's water everywhere and nowhere to put it. The leak has to be sealed...but the solution is elusive, while the clock is ticking and people die. It's just deadly .. .. God help them.
