are there ANY roads passable into new orleans now?
I'll pass on that question on what roads are open to NO, I'm not from there and don't know the land. But I'm sure the other FReepers can answer that :))
Someone posted upthread that a bridge over the Mississippi was sound. He referred to it as the GNO, but also said it was the one with the rail line, so I questioned whether he was confusing the GNO with the Huey Long.
From other postings, it appears that things are in far better shape on the West Bank.
