Actually this mayor is better than most, he came in and has done some good things I hear. I don't mean to denigrate the mayor too much. I only know him from his performance in this saga. He was screwed beforehand. No good choices. Years of bad decisions and planning.

Some of these decisions go back to the direct aftermath of Hurricane Betsy, and thus to Schiro's and Moon Landrieu's administration.
