Thanks, NautiNurse, for this thread. It's been more informative than some of the wire services. Is there a freeper (Non Red Cross way) of helping these people?

Salvation army...go to local hospital and give blood.......gather blankets, water, food Baby diapers and formula from your local neighborhood, get in car (or big truck) and drive it down there.


BTW if there are any FReepers in NW PA that are considering going down there to help I have baby things and some food I can/will send down for the survivors. Right now locally the only donations being taken are monetary and I simply don't have any, only material things that could be of help.
