I just transcribed this. Sorry for the mistakes. It's amazing. You need to hear the interview, too, to hear her insincerity and her inability to deal with difficult questions.

Cut and Run Cindy. At least she practices what she preaches.

I never said I spoke for them. I never said I spoke for 100% of the military families. I never claimed to....

Yes you did, Cindy.

The minute you put the first cross up with the name of a deceased soldier on it, you claimed to speak not only for him, but his family too.

There was some sort of epiphany here, at this juncture in the interview; this was what set her off, she is beginning to see she has been USED.

It will be interesting to see her next comments, she could turn on them, in my opinion.

I’d say, what was the noble cause he sent my son to die for?

Hasn't Bush answered this question about a zillion times?

CS: I’d say, what was the noble cause he sent my son to die for? And, why are soldiers still fighting over there when we know this war is based on lies, and to tell him to quit using my son’s name to justify the continued killing.

This woman is so... un-friggin-believably delusionally stoopid!

Where's the picture of her in the straight jacket?

(Calling nurse Cratchet.)

This is CHOICE. And to think it came from Neil Conan and NPR. I think Cindee was someone NPR was going to cling to and it backfired. Maybe he was just as flustered not getting the answers he was expecting. Notice how many times he said "Uh ... um ... uh" Not a good day for Neil. (Off mike) "SHE DIDN'T MEMORIZE THE SCRIPT!!! SHE'S A FREAKIN' LOON!"

Humm. I listened to the audio. Very enlightening. She is completely affectless. Her voice reveals no feelings at all, as far as I can see, beyond a couple of moments of petty annoyance. She sounds less like an angry leftist protesting the war than a clueless idiot who has been primed by others.

After reading this, I'm pretty sure that Casey's secondary reason for joining the Army was to get away from her! Moonbat!

Anyone have any more information on whether she 'abandoned' her kids for a time and only reentered their lives later?

THE LEFT'S WAR CONTRACT: To be antiwar can mean one of two things: you may be opposed to all war or you might just be opposed to a war in particular. A Democratic party fitting the first definition would never win another national election in this country again. Ever.

Thus many on the left who make up the base of the Democratic party have gone to great lengths to say they support the use of U.S. military force under appropriate circumstances (like, say, Afghanistan) and that their objections are confined to this president and the war in Iraq.

But if you take some of the arguments this group (which spans the "netroots" crowd at Daily Kos all the way to the New York Times op-ed page) has marshaled against President Bush and recast them in generic terms, you'll see they read like a list of "out clauses" tucked inside a "We Support the Use of U.S. Military Force" contract:

The Chickenhawk Clause: No administration official may be involved in planning or supporting a war effort unless they have served in the military. (This clause applies to members of the public as well).

The Shared Sacrifice Clause: Wars may not be conducted unless a vast majority of the public share in some sort of common sacrifice which will most likely take the form of increasing the tax burden on the public.

The Elite Sacrifice Clause: Wars may not be conducted unless 1) all military age children among the highest ranking civilian and military officials in the country are forced to serve and 2) a certain (but as yet undefined) percentage of combat deaths must come from soldiers with "privileged" backgrounds.

The Grieving Parent Clause: Mothers and fathers of soldiers killed in action are given "absolute" moral authority. Therefore wars may be fought only until the mother or father of a soldier killed in action objects to either the policy or the leadership of the administration.

The Presidential Vacation Clause: During the course of any conflict where U.S. soldiers are in harm's way, presidents are not allowed to take vacation but instead must remain at the White House "burning the midnight oil" to demonstrate military personnel are a priority.

The War Profiteering Clause: The Pentagon is allowed to hire private contractors to assist in military logistics and reconstruction projects provided that 1) no member of the administration has ever had any contact with the company and 2) the company is not allowed to make a profit.

Of course, one of the primary requirements for the left to support U.S. military force is winning the approval of the UN Security Council. Taken together these requirements would seem to make it almost impossible for the left to support U.S. military action under any circumstance. Or will all these rules not apply when Hillary or some other Democrat is sitting in the White House? -- T. Bevan, http://www.realclearpolitics.com/commentary.html

"I’m in the middle of Crawford, so, you know, it’s very spotty cell phone service out here."

Yeah, all that wide open space and with government communications so unimportant in the area, I can see why the cell service would be lacking.

She said Casy was an Eagle Scout. As such, he probably pledged "to obey the Scout Law" hundreds of times...I wonder which of the following Cindy disagrees with...
Trustworthy
Loyal
Helpful
Friendly
Courteous
Kind
Obedient
Cheerful
Thrifty
Brave
Clean
Reverent

I don't see "questions authority" on the list anywhere. Why would this woman put her son through Scouting, which is based entirely upon military excellence and principles, unless she thought they were worthwhile?

Here's where my suspicious meter clicks on: When she's asked about her son's letter from Iraq, she immediately says there's a lot of "personal stuff" in there that she doesn't want to discuss, then she discusses all the family stuff.

I think it's a safe bet that her son's letter said something to the effect that he thought he could do some good in Iraq, or that he was doing what he wanted to do and believed in. He had just reenlisted. But this isn't about her son for her, so I think she's totally using him and covering up the fact his views were the opposite of what she's doing to his memory.

I say show us the damn letters Cindy, he's the one that went to Iraq not you!

"...the President’s reason for continuing the war because he’s killed so many American soldiers already he has to kill more."

I've watched her say this on video and it is just so idiotic that if it were to make the MSM nightly news then I think any sympathy the "general public" might have for her would evaporate.
