I have never understood why this should be so big a deal. I buy gas about once a week and it usually takes me 12 gallons or so to fill the tank of my Scion Xb. All that 10% cut should mean to me is that I buy only 10 gallons next time.

I use a 10% ethanol blend....and my car - a 2001 Ford Taurus, is capable of up to an 85% ethanol blend - one of those "flex-fuel" models, so it will have to get much, much worse than even some of the doomsdayers around here speculate it will before I get overly concerned.
