Actually, it sounds about as bad as I thought it was.

Far less deaths than the worst case scenario would have produced, but the death toll is going to rise considerably.

The economic impact is going to be severe for the nation, catastrophic for Louisianna.

Gas prices will rise further. New Orleans is flooding and will be under water for months.

Sh1t happens. Mother Nature's a bitch.

It will be intersting to compare what Barbour does with what the LA governor does. Maybe she will recover but she sure did not look like someone is command of herself the other night.
