Actually, they already announced they can crank out another 1.5 mil barrels a day. But I don't see how that will help when the immediate problem is refining capacity.

Refining capacity in the US is a joke. And our environmental weenies that run the state EPA will only use the "best" gasoline. Half the stuff we make we can't even put into our own cars. Someone told me that California has 20 something various blends and grades of petrol.
