i have to disagree with your assesment regarding the cluster bomb damage. it could be acluster bomb killing her:
1: "Clusterbomb" covers a wide range of different munition types.
2: We have no way of knowing the distance away from the canter of detonation she was, it could just be a few pieces of shrapnel hitting her.

Believe you me, there is no "standard" damage from any weapon type, except maybe a 45 to the head :-)

I am well aware that cluster bomb munitions cover a wide range of devices.... I have worked with all of them. usually clusterbombs that are used by the US forces are anti personal or anti material. both are usually deployed in mine form in which they do not blow up till disturbed by traffic or personal. very rarely except against large personal groups are cluster bombs drop to detonate immediatly. It is very unlikely that we would have used a cluster bomb in a civillian area even if it did have a large terrorist population. There is just to little control. so yeah I think the picture is bunk.

Civillian deaths caused by clusterbomb munitions are usually the result of a child or scrap collector finding and unexploded bomblet or mine and either steping on it setting it off or picking it up and it going off accidently, either case leaves a very guesome aftermath. Once again the military will not drop clusterbombs on civillian populated area due to lack of control of dispersal of bomblets.
