I agree that a healthy skepticism is prudent. However, Weldon has been around for a long, long time and has significant connections within the military establishment and in the Pentagon. Remember, Weldon almost single-handedly kept the Osprey program alive back in the '80s and '90s (the heli-plane which was being manufactured in his district).
I am pretty sure that Weldon has his back covered, and I do not believe that somebody like Weldon would allow himself to get sucked into a Republican version of the "Downing Street Memo" hoax.
During the same interview that is the subject of the original post, Weldon made it clear that all he is doing at this point is bringing up indisputable facts and asking WHY these facts were never investigated by the 9-11 Commission. Weldon is a careful and patient man. The snowball is gaining speed and picking up volume even now.

If all that is accomplished is the demonstration to the People as a whole of the complete incompetence and idiocy of the Clintons that will be sufficient. Since the major conclusion of the 911 Commission is contingent upon provable lies it should be easy to use the Congressional investigations to: demonstrate the alliance between al Queda and Iraq, the involvement of Iraq in domestic terrorist attacks, and the deliberate decisions of the Abomination to hide this involvement.
