"Congress isn't in session. Plus, it is August and the only stories right now are Cindy Sheehan stories."

If it's a real story, it surely CANNOT wait.

Look, people are far too interesting in the hurricane right now and any other nonpolitical story to care about this right now. It's ALWAYS been this way!

It's far, far, FAR better for this to break AFTER the Labor Day weekend. And in case you don't know, it took forever ( years ) for the MSM to get the populace interested in Watergate. So take a deep breathe, relax, and watch as this stuff grows and grows and GROWS, until it is SO explosive, that even the MSM has to talk about it.

Honestly, timing is everything.

For the next few days it'd be buried under hurricane Katrina and Cindy Sheehan.

If they wait until Congress is in session, it'll make for awesome special order speeches and the congressmen on the right will be more available to speak about it on TV.

I believe he has turned over a rock and exposed some crawly things, but...he says he doesn't want the process "manipulated" and then he announces he has a bombshell on the calendar for September 8. That sounds like manipulation to me.
