That was just the few Republicans running for President...other Republicans existed also. You can investigate the matter if you are truly interested...which isn't to say that there weren't many Republicans who bought into the need to declare jihad on the Christians.

I AM interested so I gotgoing and what I found (thanks getgoing!) is that:
