"for you folks in Rio Lindo" I guess that you got caught in your own trap. Part of the laugh about "people in Rio Linda" is that it really is the name of the town. There are others in California of a similar ilk: "El Granada" in San Mateo county comes to mind.

it may not be funny but it is also probably not convictable.
No criminal intent. (guilty mind, guilty act)
I think this is more a charge of criminal mischief than actual robbery.
