I think this one is best done directly. I can see the politics of this.. especially given the quotes Cindy has given about this now. The answer is to do a FReeper letter writing campaign to all of the Members of the House and all of our Senators. This organization has a Congressional Charter. Surely, it is unthinkable that their purpose can be allowed to be hijacked, or that these poor ladies work can be sullied when they are so careful to avoid the spotlight.

You have to believe that literally thousands of mothers from this war and past wars are suffering because of Cindy's cynical friends who cooked this travesty up. To steal the good name of the Gold Star Mothers and wrap their message of despair and betrayal with the efforts of these brave women.

Great idea and use that photograph below your post to show them just who she really is. The simple grieving mother who has her own publicist, hairdresser, make-up artist and even someone to dab her forehead for the cameras while kneeling with her son's cross. What a cynical woman she is that she'd 'use' these props for her agenda.
