Talked to my aunt, and my cousin lives in N GA. She says the skies are clear, and everything is okay as of a couple of hours ago. Thanks for the updates. Like I said, I don't know hurricanes, so it didn't occur to me that it could hit Georgia.

My aunt lives in NW GA (Rome, in Floyd County), and she tells me they issued a Tornado Watch for the region at 5:39 p.m. She heard on the news that a tornado touched down in a suburb of Rome and she e-mailed me a few minutes ago that it's still raining but that the thunder had ceased.

Central Georgia here, just had a tornado pass a few miles up the road today. When Dennis came through a few months back, took the roof of the of the Atlanta Motor Speedway. We definitely get alot of damage out of hurricanes. Usually the spin offs.
