For those folks that might have a shortwave radio. These are the frequencies in use.

"The Hurricane Watch Net (HWN), the Salvation Army Team Emergency Radio Network (SATERN) and the West Gulf ARES Emergency Net (3.873 and 7.285 MHz) Also 14.325MHz. Higher frequencies are better during the day. ARRL
