I had heard that the Alabama was a storm refuge. It's really hard to believe that it just disappeared and nobody knows where it is. It's pretty hard to miss. It's gigantic.

Still shaking my head over this one...

I am still trying to find an actual story on it. It was a report on our local TV here, my wife said it was also reported on TV earlier today, and I have seen a few mentions on forum --- BUT still no confirmation, and like you I find it hard to believe they can't find a Battleship.

I agree I saw the same TV program describing how the every one hunkers down there and even brings animals. I have to imagine if the USS ALabama disappered it would rivial the SuperDOme story this morning and we would be hearing all about it.
