How are things there now? Why do you think the 'boro will flood? I'm not familiar with the area. Thanks!!!

It hasn't rained in several hours in Nashville, but it sounds like it is just starting again. The rain looks like it is west and south of Nashville now according to radar and Murfreesboro is southeast. They are still predicting 3 - 5 inches of rain and wind through Tuesday, but the storm is moving quickly.

Murfreesboro is flat, low lying and surrounded by several branches of the Stones River. There are sections that always flood in heavy rain, but the whole city doesn't flood. If your family has lived there long, they would have experienced flooding before. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much.
