Do any of you all know any really good local charities in the areas that were hit? I've given to both the Red Cross and Salvation Army, but I would like to give to a local agency as well. Does anyone have any ideas?

Guess so. I didn't know learn that Lousiana had a different word for 'county' in american history either. That knowledge came sometime later. Guess some of us just aren't as all knowing as others.
