Actually, I support Bush-Kyl-Cornyn. But I'm realistic enough to know that it will never have enough votes. The dems won't vote for it. Bush could kiss Tancredo's butt on the Lou Dobbs show and the Immigration Caucus would still not vote for it.

Actually, if the President were to make a strong push for Tancredo's bill publicly, it would pass, because the public response to it would be positive. What's in there that the public would be opposed to? It's only the politicians that don't like it. Why you and a few others continue to cover for them is beyond me.

First off, the prez is not going to support Tancredo's position because that is economic suicide for the country and political suicide for the Republican Party.

Even if he did, that would not translate into Congrssional support for Tancredo.
