I've read her shrill books and articles. I'm not impressed.

Her writing is of the same level as, say, Michael Moore and Al Franken. Does she make some points? Sure. But she is just the ideological other side of the political coin from those guys.

You have a valid argument, but it is not a sound one. If her points are fact-based, and Moore's Franken's are not, then they are not simply two sides of an ideological coin. It's not just ideology, it's also "facts".

Having said that, I admit Anne can write like a buzzsaw.

I disagree, I've read Slander, Treason and How to talk to a liberal if you must.
I think it was Treason that was so filled with facts and figures about how the communists had infiltrated the state department that got the left to really hate her.
I was disappointed with How to Talk to a Liberal since half the book was reruns off her columns, the equivalent of a TV shows', clip show.

Thank you....as a conservative (yes, I really am one) I would have to say she is not one of my favorites.....to be fair I have not read any of her columns but never have liked how she comes across when I see her on FOX.....

Ann checks her facts to ten decimal places. Verification of her information is easy and it's still not enough for lefties. Franken and Moore don't even have a casual acquaintance with the truth. Most of their statements are wrong or intellectually dishonest. How are they the same?

I agree with you. I haven't read her books but I have read many of her articles and have watched her when she's talking on t.v. I agree with most of her points, but she is shrill, rude, arrogant and not exactly who I want as the poster-person for Conservatives. I just have to cringe sometimes when I hear her talking.
