RE: "in other words, Lisa is an aging, unemployed, leftist trouble-maker."
LOL.
That is a very good synopsis.
Pretty much sums it up.

In a telephone interview with National Review Online on Sunday, she explained that she was with Sheehan in Dallas at a meeting of the antiwar group Veterans for Peace during the first days of August when the decision was made for Sheehan to go to the president's ranch. On August 6, when Sheehan went to Crawford in a bus with the words "Impeachment Tour" emblazoned on the side Fithian went along. "I came the first day and helped her [Sheehan] set up the initial encampment," Fithian said. With the exception of one brief absence, she has been there ever since. This can't be true. The OLD MEDIA says it's just "one mom who sparked a movement." One mom who came alone to ask the President to meet with her...(again).

CRAWFORD TX-
President Bush's supporters poured into Crawford by the thousands Saturday,
for the first time outnumbering war protesters led by Cindy Sheehan,
who began a vigil here three weeks ago,
demanding a personal meeting with the vacationing president
to talk about her son's death in Iraq.
Lame Stream Media : News Flash!
President Bush already met with Cindy Sheehan in June 2004 for 10 minutes.
From The Reporter, Vacaville, CA archive: Bush, Sheehans share moments.
Quit lying!!!!
Anyone who thinks Hanoi Kerry and Hanoi Jane
aren't behind the anti war crowd
needs to get a clue.

It looks to me like some Democrats are wanting to go antiwar in 2006.
They really believe that they lost the White House in 2004 because John Kerry went duck hunting in Ohio.
Maybe they will try running antiwar vets in some key races.
Camp Cindy is where they are floating ideas for the upcoming campaigns, trying to see if they'll fly.
I also think Mr. Bush likes seeing the press camped out in Texas ditches in 100 degree heat.
I know I do. LOL.
Especially when every once in a while Mr. Bush takes them out brushing. :0)

"I guess my biggest thing is that as people who are trying to create a new world, I do believe we have to dismantle or transform the old order to do that," Fithian continued. "I just fundamentally don't believe it will ever serve our interests as it's currently constructed."
Sounds like the words terrorists use to rationalize their violence too. Funny she sees anarchists as role models, when they in fact were the terrorists of their era.

Fithian sounds like a Moonbat, but then..
I see nothing wrong with "fits" over globalism(i.e anti-globalism) ..
Globalists like Clinton and Bush(Jr. and Sr.) are FOR it too..(globalism)
Its a strange very confused world we live in..
Whats up with anti-globalism? and pro-socialism?..
Somebodys defintely confused.. Socialism is all about globalism..
Has been from the beginning..

I read this entire article, along with all the comments and I never once saw a comparison to the #@%#? HILLARY. It reads just like her resume.... Hippie liberal, anti american slut, support for terrorists... college demonstrations... shut down the universities... suports and defends the black panthers.... abortionists, traitors, loves Karl Marx; the ACLU; fights with the unions agianst our way of life.... This Lisa is really Hillary in disguise.... hateful @#&%?; hates God; hates America hates Bush and all of us freepers; She probably got her training from Hillary and Bill... I see no denunciation of any of this unamerican rhetoric.

I want to know when we are going to open season on these traitors. I am sick and tired of these people who think they know what I want and what is best for the masses. What in the hell gives them the right to defame me, my country, our Armed Services and my President? The Constitution? That is not how I read it! They are traitors pure and simple and should be treated as such! It is hight ime we used the Constitution to fight back against those who wish this country harm.

I kid you not, when I was first told of the planes crashing into the WTC on 9/11, I immediately said that it must be the work of the "anti-globalists." It was just a couple of weeks before the IMF/World Bank meetings in Washington and they had announced plans for massive demonstrations. Some of us were well aware of the dangerous nature of this group and would put nothing past them.

I think this loonie thinks her side looks normal and ours did not. How sad is that?
Also, she said Fort Qualls was a copy of their memorial. The idiot didn't even realize that these are crosses that the parents who don't support Cindy have removed from Camp Kookyville. Liberals are so dumb.

Lisa Fithian United for Peace and Justice 213-840-1972 fithianl@igc.org Lisa Fithian, a long-time organizer is the National Co-Chair of United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ). UFPJ is a national coalition with more than 800 peace and justice groups under its umbrella. Since its founding in October 2002, UFPJ has spurred hundreds of protests and rallies around the country on a range of issues, including the two largest demonstrations against the Iraq war.

Read about Lisa Fithian's fellow "co-chair" of UFPJ. Cindy Sheehan is in bed with some really loathsome anti-American radicals (not surprising since Cindy has expressed similar views):
http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6166
"Leslie Cagan is the co-chair and principal leader of UFPJ. She was an original founder of the Committees of Correspondence, a splinter group rooted in the Communist Party USA. A strong supporter of Fidel Castro since the 1960s, Cagan is a committed socialist and longtime activist who proudly aligns her politics with those of Communist Cuba. Over the past three decades, she has mobilized millions of demonstrators in rallies denouncing America's foreign policies; its military-related spending; and its purportedly virulent racism, sexism, and homophobia."

More about the virulent anti-American Leslie Cagan of UFPJ:
"Cagan has often praised Castro's Cuba, which she considers a far better place than the United States. During her seven years as director of the Cuba Information Project, she led numerous demonstrations demanding that the U.S. end its economic embargo of, and travel ban to, Cuba. "In the winter of 1969-70," Cagan fondly recalls, "I spent over two months with the First Venceremos Brigade in Cuba. Just ten years into their revolution, the Cubans had taken control of their history. . . . While we were in Cuba, Fred Hampton and other Chicago Black Panthers were murdered. It was a shocking reminder of the brutality and power of the U.S. government, and there we were in Cuba, a whole nation under attack from the U.S. As Brigadistas we were taking a risk traveling in defiance of Washington's travel ban, but we knew the risk was small compared to what Cubans and so many others around the world faced every day." The Venceremos Brigades were organized by Castro's Cuban intelligence agency, which trained some "brigadistas" in guerrilla warfare techniques, including the use of arms and explosives. Among the supporters of the many pro-Castro rallies that Cagan has attended or helped organize are such socialist entities as Casa de las Americas, the Communist Party, the Socialist Workers Party, the Workers World Party, and the Young Socialists."
