It's not all crap, one of the replacement programs is terrific. Randy Bachman (Guess Who, BTO) does a show he calls VinylTap on the CBC Sat nights at 6. I never knew Robert Plant repurposed a Welsh folk song into Stairway to Heaven. Here I thought he originated it. And that Little Richard can't play in the key of A, Randy had to use a variable oscillator to allow LR to play in D, then bump it.

I picked up these shows as MP3s, but the CBC sometimes sends it over the intarweb. I just wonder what the musician's union has to say about strikebreaking.

At least they aren't apologizing for the "inconvenience" every 10 minutes.

You're right! "Crap" is way too general a description.
Technically, some CBC programing actually constitutes of lies, distortions, intentional misinformation, self-serving nonsense, ruling party toadying, devious manipulation, brain-dead political correctness and, of course, blatant socialist propaganda.

As the example above illustrates, many of
these - and other- descriptions can apply.
