Yes, about two weeks ago when the story about the Heritage Foundation event first came out. Despite Newsmax's "until now" claim, this isn't a new story. If you believe in the dictum to "keep your friends close and your enemies closer," you should make sure to read the liberal press and blogs as much as possible, like this from the Washington Monthly.

Weldon never made such a claim so whatever NewsMax might insinuate is beside the fact. If someone takes the time to view the video and hear Welson's presentation, he/she can draw their own conclusions.

It is hard to disprove a negative. I don't know what was on this chart (Weldon said it was the unclassied version during his presentation), but the fact that two military members of AD and the contractor who supplied the photo state that MA's picture was on the presentation they developed for SOCOM is good enough for me. Anyone who has watched the video understands the context of the chart in Weldon's presentation. He never said it was the same one that was used for SOCOM nor did he go into any great detail on what was on it.

Weldon wouldn't get much out of Holland... he didn't arrive on the scene until 10/2000.

Schoomaker... and most of all Gen. Hugh Shelton who ordered the group formed in 1999 would be the people to question.
