Drank too many Hurricanes ? The worse flooding is supposed to occur after the eye goes north of Lake Ponchatrain and the winds on the back side blow that water over the levees. Wind induced current from pressure. Basic physics.

I worry about Shep period. I hope we don't lose him. (...and I don't mean just his cell signal.)

At 6:30 the power is still on, there's no flooding and the Shep is standing in the middle of the street and the winds don't even seem that bad yet.

And with them talking about the hurricane further weakening and turning east it looks like New Orleans will probably miss the worst of it. What a break!
