I wonder if the ability to generate more detailed weather models is also allowing for the "documentation " of higher and higher instananeous speeds that are not necessarily real.
Is there any real evidence of any of the observation posts , buoys etc measuring anything near 150 mph ?
The on ly thing that I have seen jump that high is the price of oil.
You're unlikely to see an actual surface measurement of Cat 4 strength winds anywhere from this storm.
