Insurance companies don't cover flood. That's FEMA (or whatever).


I'm sure some one(many) will figure out a way to sue insurance agancies for something indirectly related. It's become the American way. .... oh yippee(sarc)

only if you have federal flood insurance. we have it where we live, its gotten more expensive in recent years.

its always been a controversial point - should the government provide this help to people who don't have the insurance? because if they did, alot of people would just cancel their policies and simply say "well, they paid off those people who didn't have it anyway, why should we pay for the policy".
