Well, I think the evacuation should have been ordered sooner, and I think they should have had some sort of plans for getting people without cars (the poor, the elderly, tourists, students) out of the city.

I hope that everything turns out all right for the folks at the Dome, but I still think that is not a good situation.

You can bet that they will reevaluate their emergency plans after this is over.

And we still don't know about the storm surge.

saw on news right now a local person by the casinos already have 6-8 feet of water along the Blvds there, so the water IS doing damage NOW!
