Maybe they have bigger worries than talking to idiotic reporters. Also considering electricity is out, no one can hear the appeals for people call in. Personally I would be saving my batteries to dial 911 if necessary.

The remnants of Katrina will leave New Orleans before long, and the residents will quickly notice that the temperature rises.

They're saying that power might not be restored for a month. I cannot imagine trying to live in those conditions.

And nobody has packed a hurricane kit big enough to last a month. Oh my.

The aftermath may seem worse than the storm.
