I can honestly say, in years and years of being a ham radio and weather geek, I have NEVER heard the NWS and the NHC saying some of the stuff they've said the past two days. That is absolutely chilling.

I pay passing/slight attention, but have been likewise impressed. Prayers for those in the face of this storm.
