Said that the dome generates its own weather systems. Now that air conditioning is off, they could get rain and lighting inside the astro dome. That's typical Art Bell type nit wittery.

Back in the early 1970s, they had a power outage in the Houston Astrodome and yes... It did rain inside... I saw it with my own eyes... And felt it on my pointed little head...
No lightning though....
