New Orleans is getting hammered and conditions are still worsening. I have an Aunt riding this thing out in Slidell and they are not enjoying things at all.
LSU stadium is almost done with a massive build,,new sky boxes, etc. Was supposed to be ready for start of season but won' t be. We don't want the Saints coming here,,the traffic is bad enough.
NO still isn't out of harms way. Those poor people have misery to face. I can't even imagine what they will go home to, and some won't have much left of their homes.
I keep thinking of the poor pets that had to be left behind. Me dog cowers and shivers during a thunder storm. I hate to think what the helpless critters are suffering right now. And the childern. They will have phobias forever.
This is still a major tragedy.
If you have (or get) any information on Slidell and what's going on there right now, PLEASE ping me. I've got family who evacuated from there and they're worried because they don't have a clue as to what's going on. Thanks in advance.
