I know! But when the wind and rain comes later today or tomorrow, the millions of self-pruning pecan trees are going to be everywhere. Add that to the detesible Bradford Pear's and we will have a mess on our hands.

I had an almond and pecan tree in my front yard that were blown down by a tropical storm a couple of years ago. We replanted with oaks. I noticed this morning that a healthy looking pecan growing back with the oak. I hate to pull it but I'm going to have to. The thing is , we removed the roots. I guess a piece left.
