Would this mean that there is oil pumping into the water where the oil rig used to be? Just wondering?



We don't have enough info to know the answer, but my guess is this is a rig that was moored along the water way and broke its moorings not an operational rig. They normally moor these rigs when not in use along water ways. If it's a working platform then that is something else. Most platforms have been shut in thus the wells have been turned off a few days ago and the workers evacuated...

Just guesses at this stage.

I doubt an oil spill, the rig is usualy disbonnected from the BOP as part of storm preperation.
