Some random thoughts...
Just watched some college students on FNC at the Super Dome. They seem to be smiling, enjoying this like it was a like cutting class...
Gad! The stupidity of this make me cringe...
I cannot help but expect the worse for New Orleans... Call it my black dog mood, but I feel helpless as if watching two trains speeding head on at each other and not being able to do anything...
The D-Day Museum in in New Orleans along with many other historical sites. All these may be under 20 to 30 feet of water.
My prayers are for those in Katrina's path not only in New Orleans but in the surrounding Gulf Coast area.

They did not have cars, could not afford an airline ticket and are not old enough to rent a car - they are just making the best out of a bad situation?
Would you feel better if they spread panic and starting yelling "there is no hope - we're all going to die!!!" ?

Call it my black dog mood, but I feel helpless as if watching two trains speeding head on at each other and not being able to do anything... That describes the feeling in the pit of my stomach pretty well.
(Good to see you here!)
