Phone report from Dome now ... almost about 10,000 inside the superdome, seems pretty happy in their now, lights and a/c on, MREs about to be handed out ... roof replaced in last few years ... a lot of searching was going on of people entering ... las time shelter used was in 98 Hurr. george ... people testy after 3 days, NG wasn't letting them leave even though sun was out ...
... elec & running water is a concern (per that briefing) ... all confident dome will survive (end of report).
only 10,000 in the superdome now? that means many still in the city outside of it....they were expecting alot more i think
