To: PhiKapMom Hand dipped chocolate covered pretzels, though a wee bit more fussy to make, aren't hard. In a double boiler ( or a small put put over a larger pot that has slowly boiling water in it, melt 16 ounces of cooking/baking chocolate and a 1/2 a stick of unsalted butter, turn flame down to low, use a large toothpick or a BBQ skewer through a three ring pretzel and dip into chocolate, raise and let drip a bit. Place coated pretzel on wax paper covered cookie sheet. When the sheet is full, place in the ice-box for about 1/2 an hour.
