The storm is not going to miss New Orleans. There is a chance the eye will move a bit to the east of the city. This doesn't help them with their water situation. It would mean slightly lower winds. Nobody in New Orleans should consider this storm anything less than it was a few hours ago. She is still extremely dangerous and still moving towarsd the city.

Oh my . . . I thought I heard the report that it was going to miss NO. My mistake.

I'm looking at the a href="http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/float-wv-loop.html">satellite water-vapor loop</a> and thinking "That's one mother of an eye!". The next thought is "That's a hell of a lot of water vapor coming around"
