It's a lot easier to deal with storm fears during daylight. There is absolutely nothing worse than the roar of a hurricane in complete darkness.
True. I think it's coming ashore at a pretty optimal time. At one point, I'm thinking 12-15 hours ago, it was moving slower, and the predicted landfall was more like 11AM. The it sped up slightly, such that it's coming ashore shortly.
I'm saying I think this is better, since a storm coming ashore at 11AM would have been somewhat additionally-energized by the AM sun.
You've got to look for every little bit of silver lining you can get, on this one. :-\
