Just curious: do you know of any other city BELOW sea level that has been under threat of a BIG BAD hurricane for the last 100 years that doesn't have a plan?
"It will turn" is NOT a plan, Jeff.
You're either being deliberately obtuse or just damn disengenuous.
They HAVE a plan; FEMA has a plan...........but they didn't implement it IN TIME.
That'll mean about $1 more here in SoCal. ;)
Bet they could bus hundreds of thousands to the polls. Geez even the graves are above ground... all the more convenient for the circulation-challenged voters.
Jeff--I'm really beginning to believe you fibbed about ever being in a hurricane. Shame on you.

Caller "Through the years, they havent lost much"...figure the most they can lose is the roof of their house
I heard the people are getting MRE's at the dome.
Is there going to be a test on that stuff after this thread is over? :-)
So you are saying that "these people" are just better off dead? I think every last one of them would rather be "crammed" into a knook for a week than drowning.
But that's just me. Call me crazy.
LOL!!! Planes are seeding the hurricane -- I like that one but can guarantee you someone will think it is true! :)
:-)
NNNW would be my way of describing it.
Keep watching the NWS page for alerts...that will be the first place you hear about flooding....
That's what I was figuring, considering conservation of angular momentum, which is why I've been watching for it.
Are you listening to this letter being read from Mary Landru??
She is such a Bleep
Seriously, Karl, is Art hosting tonight?
Evidently.
Thanks!
I'll be right back... do you mind waiting?
