Will President Bush be releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to account for these supply disruptions?

It is possible that the reserves will be used to alleviate some of this.

Oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve will do nothing to lower the price of gasoline or home heating oil because the oil needs to be refined and the U.S. just does not have the refining capacity to do it cheaply. So these high prices will be around for awhile unfortunately.

Will President Bush be releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to account for these supply disruptions? If Bush doesn't release enough oil to make up for the disruption...it will be criminal!
We've got 800 million barrels.
50 million or so barrels will hold off the speculators tomorrow....but he must act before the markets open.

these supply disruptions There are none and there have been none. When gasoline in Iraq and Venezuela is selling at 10 cents a gallon, and even China it is $2 a gallon, there is no supply problem.
