A few points and take them as you will:
1/ You are not allergic to cigarette smoke (it is not possible) I tire of pointing this out to people. Liberals use this argument all the time and when asked to prove it go remarkably silent.
2./ I'm a smoker and yes I take breaks. I also supervise 13 people (who don't smoke). I also arrive an hour earlier than everyone and leave an hour later. Come on down and tell me sometime how much harder you work than me.
3./ Next time you get in your car, explain to me how I pollute the environment more than you.

If the professor had any background in human resources management, he would have learned that an employer's "invasion" of a person's lifestyle and private life is actually pretty much the norm in Japan -- especially in managerial positions. Japanese companies have long had a tradition of setting standards for their employees in their personal lives, getting involved in things like helping them decide where to live, determining which schools their kids would attend, etc.
I noticed that too. That's why I carry a pack of cigarettes and a lighter and disappear for fifteen minutes out of every hour.

Does house dust contain protein? House dust brings on asthma attacks. Lots of allergens don't contain protein. Some people are highly allergic to tobacco smoke and it causes them to have asthma attacks and some other nasty reactions.
Cameras in your bathroom, etc etc.

Thats a nifty idea until they start refusing to hire Christians. Eventually they will get around descriminating against other people for various reasons. Remember that when you deny people their rights in one fashion or another do not be suprised if they refuse to acknowledge yours.
1. I don't agree with your statement, but I'll re-phrase. I get a headache, a terrible headache, when around the smoke.
2. When you're out on your cig breaks are you available to your employees? Typically, we have to waste time "finding" you.
3. You don't drive? That's a different issue unless you walk or bicycle to work.
We don't have "breaks". We can certainly work while smoking just like the office fat asses can work while munching snacks and the office speed junkies can suck down coffee at their desks. It's just that smoking is banned in most offices, while munching down cheetos and getting high on caffiene isn't. I remember working in an office years ago where the only one who didn't smoke was the secretary who we used to go outside often and take fresh air breaks. Non-smokers fart a lot. It's worse now that there isn't pleasant wreaths of smoke wafting about the office absorbing it. I wish they'd ban farting in the office make them take their fart breaks outside.
I'm allergic to the smell of my non-smoking fellow office workers. They smell of sweat and farts. It gives me a splitting headache so I go outside and smoke a bowl of cavendish every few hours.
Actually I have a severe sight issue so no I don't drive.
As for finding me I have a cell phone.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of cigarette smoke. Even though I am a smoker I don't like people smoking while eating or even smoking inside my house (strange eh).But what does concern me is the attack (from the left) on my rights.
If they don't, I can find another place and wouldn't want to work there. No big deal, I have faith, and will always find a way to support my family. I als understand your point, but I it is a little bit out there, or conspiracy like for me.
Back in the day there were company towns throughout the nation wherein all housing was owned by the Company which dictated many facets of life for employees. Pullman was the most famous. In these towns even the ministers were hired by the Company.
Of course, these facts contradict the widespread belief that people had more freedom in days gone by. But nostalgia dies hard.
you aren't allergic to smoke. ask your doctor if he'll test you for it.
breaks? i take 2 15 minutes breaks to smoke. how is that different from the people who stand around talking socially for 20-30 minutes 3-4 times a day at the coffee machine, kitchen, break room, or just because they meet in the halls? oh, because they stay in the building?
and yes, being fat does effect people. health problems, space issues, and smell factor. because yes, a fat person will sweat more profusely than most people who aren't and they stink. and that is offensive to me.
Yes, It is mostly human skin.
Lots of allergens don't contain protein.
ALL allergens contain protein. Look it up.
