The upside of the National Guard serving MRE's in the Superdome is that the bathrooms won't need to be used for a while. Those things will bind up your system for sure.

I keep hearing about how all of New Orleans will be under 20 feet of water. If this comes to pass, where are all these police cars, ambulances and fire trucks going to go? Are they being moved to higher ground tonight? And how will the 20,000+ people in the Superdome be evacuated if the city is sitting under that much water?

There won't be much of a hurry after the storm. Boats and helicopters will do just fine.
