It's absolutely unbelievable imo that they waited so long to do it.
You know, I'd been thinking the president was probably more charming, but when I read that, it just "felt" right.
Shep Smith was explaining earlier that the reason so many people probably waited until too late, is because they have been through Hurricane warnings so many times, packing up and moving or going to shelters...
just to have nothing happen, and go home, and nothing wrong. Spent money and uprooted family for no reason often enough, and one becomes very reluctant to evacuate.
