I have friends who live on Biloxi Bay about 1/4 mile from the beach...they left a wonderful home to stay in Waynesboro about 50 miles inland..

My cousin at Tulane left yesterday.

My cousins in Golden Meadow are long gone.

and my Aunt and cousins on Mobile Bay are hunkering down in an old masonry craftsman style bungalow built like a pillbox above the Fairhope pier.

and the rain is expected even here in nashville soon.

we are in Texarkana so will probably get some of the rain but hopefully no tornados...heard a young lady interviewed from Tulane this afternoon and she was praising the president of Tulane for giving them three options and none of them included staying at Tulane during the hurricane...lol

Glad to hear your folks are safe.

I've been helping my parents prepare via long distance.
I think it will be worse than Camille where they are.
In my conversations with my mother, I did find that everyone I know on the coast headed north.
I don't know if they headed far enough north, though.

I hope all you get is rain, and NO tornadoes!
